Welcome to Our Events Calendar
Truth and Action
In a small region south of Atlanta, we don’t spend our time convincing people of the severity of our community’s health challenges. We don’t spend our time complaining about how or why our health systems fail to meet our expectations.
We are aware.
We FEND for ourselves—and we are building.
We are building permanent infrastructure, systems, pathways, communication networks, and new community-based collaborations among care organizations, municipalities, state and federal partners, academic institutions, businesses, community leaders, and residents.
Complaints alone have never solved anything. Too often, they become substitutes for action.
Down here, we take action.
F.E.N.D.S - Stands for…
Being Human; Spirituality Program
Being Human: Making Space for Our Spiritual Selves
Being Human is a Chatt Heals Spirituality experience creating welcoming spaces for conversation, reflection, prayer, connection, and belonging.
People of all religious and spiritual traditions—and those who do not identify with one—are welcome. There is no requirement to pray, share a particular belief, or have the answers. Come to talk, listen, reflect, spend time in nature, meet others, or simply be present.
Through gatherings in parks and community spaces, Being Human seeks to strengthen human connection, combat loneliness and isolation, and make room for the spiritual dimension of health and well-being.
You do not have to believe the same things to make space for one another.
Conversation • Reflection • Prayer • Connection • Belonging
Being Human is presented through the Chatt Heals F.E.N.D.S. Spirituality domain.
