Thank you, Chattahoochee Hills, GA

Today, we are incredibly grateful.

Our Special Use Permit and associated variance for our Country Inn and Farm Stay have officially been approved by the City of Chattahoochee Hills on July 7, 2026.

This milestone represents far more than a permit. It reflects months of thoughtful discussion, careful planning, collaboration, and a shared commitment to preserving what makes Chattahoochee Hills such a special place while embracing responsible opportunities for its future.

Our sincere thanks go to Mayor Camille Lowe; Mayor Pro Tem and District 1 Councilmember Ruby Foster; District 2 Councilmember Angela Addison; our own District 3 Councilmember Scott Lightsey; District 4 Councilmember Tim Southard; District 5 Councilmember Rodney Peek; the members of the Planning Commission; and the dedicated city staff who invested countless hours reviewing our proposal, asking thoughtful questions, offering guidance, and ensuring every aspect of the process was handled with professionalism and care. Your diligence made this a better project, and throughout the process, our appreciation and trust in your commitment to the values and long-term interests of Chattahoochee Hills only grew stronger.

We would also like to thank Chris Montesinos, Economic Development Director, for his support throughout this process.

A very special thank you goes to Mike Morton, Community Development Director; Ron Johnson, Deputy Community Development Director; and our architect, Lorraine Cunanan of Locus Design. Together, you helped transform an idea into a thoughtful, compliant, and achievable project. Mike and Ron worked tirelessly and professionally with us to help us understand and navigate the appropriate path to compliance, while Lorraine's creativity, expertise, and patience brought our vision to life in a way that honored both our aspirations and the character of Chattahoochee Hills. Your collective guidance, responsiveness, and commitment to doing things the right way were invaluable, and we are deeply appreciative of the time, talent, and care each of you devoted to this project.

We also want to thank those neighbors who asked difficult questions, expressed concerns, and challenged aspects of our proposal throughout this process. Thoughtful dialogue and respectful disagreement are essential to good governance. Your perspectives encouraged us to listen carefully, refine our plans, and ultimately helped create a stronger project that we believe better serves both our vision and the values of Chattahoochee Hills.

To the residents of Chattahoochee Hills who offered encouragement, attended meetings, shared perspectives, and supported our vision, thank you. Community is built through engagement, and we are deeply appreciative of the trust and confidence you have shown us.

To our family and close friends, thank you for standing beside us throughout this journey. Your encouragement, patience, prayers, and unwavering belief sustained us through every challenge.

With this approval, the vision for Chatt Heals moves one significant step closer to becoming reality. We look forward to creating a place where people can reconnect with nature, restore themselves, learn, heal, and experience the unique spirit of Chattahoochee Hills while contributing to the community we are proud to call home.

We recognize that this approval is not the end of our responsibility, it is the beginning. We are committed to being thoughtful neighbors, responsible stewards of this beautiful community, and faithful to the vision we have shared from the beginning.

The work begins anew, and we couldn't be more excited about what lies ahead.

 With sincere gratitude.
